EBM KDP 117 SLK-P AIRTRONIC automatic single-sided edge banding machine, designed for high-quality, continuous processing of straight furniture and cabinet panels.
The machine is equipped with pre-milling units for preparing the panel edge, followed by a quick-heat hot-melt glue pot for conventional edge-banding applications. The edge material is automatically fed, pressed and securely bonded to the panel before passing through the trimming and finishing stations.
The machine features end trimming/trim saws, top and bottom rough trimming units for initial edge removal, followed by top and bottom fine/profile trimming units for precise finishing. Corner rounding units provide a smooth radius finish on suitable workpieces.
Final edge finishing is carried out through the profile scraper and glue scraper, removing machining marks and excess adhesive. The buffing/polishing units then provide a clean, smooth and finished edge appearance.
The AIRTRONIC system provides advanced zero-joint/seamless edge-banding capability using hot-air technology to activate specially coated edge material, producing a highly discreet joint with minimal visible glue line.
